All that said, Nier: Automata is looking to be as equally impressive as its parent games. This series shines and maybe releasing earlier in the year will garner the attention Nier: Automata deserves. This is no JRPG newcomer; these games have been there the whole time and stand up to the best of them.
The producer also confirmed that the game would be PS4 Pro optimized, and confirmed than an Xbox One release was on the cards depending on how NieR: Automata sales fair from the game’s launch early next year. From our time with the game, the action sequences look to have heavily improved, and Platinum Games will be banking on an enveloping storyline and smoother combat keeping fans hooked. Instead, I did create music per scene or per emotion, that can be used for any character at any moment. However if Director Yoko-san feels that a certain song fits a certain character more than others, then it might end up becoming a theme song for that charac

But alas, we have only one award to give, and Battlefield 1 ‘s absolutely stunning and extremely fun desert map brings it home. And the horses… oh the horses… They’re unbelievably fun. If you see one available on the battlefield, grab it.
NieR was a charming game, but NieR: Automata seems to have the potential to surpass it in basically every aspect. With PlatinumGames providing its trademark stylish action, Akihiko Yoshida bringing his beautiful character design, Keiichi Okabe’s music and the visionary direction of Yoko Taro, the pieces are really starting to fall in place.
They’re also rather hellish to descend, because Steep is not an easy game. After all, you’re tackling the Alps. It’s supposed to be a challenge, and the game definitely doesn’t shy away from putting a tree in your flight path.
