Monitoring your stamina usage in combat is crucial to not burning out and opening yourself to attack. You’re not a machine who can unflinchingly continue to batter enemies with your staff combos without an exhaustive cost. Enhancing your ability to recover stamina more rapidly or cater to specific attack strategies is in your best interest as you progress in your journey. Below are all the skills that fall under the stamina category as well as their cost.

This attack is only troublesome because the shockwave doesn’t come out sometimes, and you miss out on the opportunity to get in some hits. The shockwave itself is easy to avoid by dodging or moving away as it only travels in a straight line at a slow speed.

There are all sorts of bosses that you will encounter in Black Myth Wukong Boss Guide Myth: Wukong . You won’t find any secret bosses until you have completed a few prerequisites. Completing a few simple tasks like finding specific key items will be all you need to unlock them.

As his combo enders, the Tiger’s Acolyte may use these moves that will send a straight shockwave on the ground , dealing damage to the player if they’re hit by it. You can recognize this attack by the little sparks that fly as the shockwave is travelling through the ground.

You can use Immobilize to deal a lot of damage to the boss and charged heavy attacks can also be useful during the battle; you have to stay close to this boss because most of its attacks are a lot difficult to avoid at range. You should also avoid using the Pluck of Many spell as Shigandang has lots of good AOE attacks and high defense, making it much more worthwhile to preserve your mana for either Immobilize or Cloud Step.

As the name implies, this tree is completely focused on bolstering the Destined One’s combat prowess. These skills are both active and passive. Below are the skills you can expect to obtain under this tree.

This skill tree helps bolster your resilience to the damage enemies can inflict on you. For starters, this is where you can upgrade your health meter. However, you can also bolster your resistance toward any of the four banes (status effects) that some hostiles can wield: burn , poison , chill , and shock damage. There are also skills that help boost the recovery rates of your various meters. Below is a complete listing of these skills under this branch and the costs associated with each.

Performing Heavy Attack during Light Attack Combo with a Focus Point consumed, allows the Destined One to execute Resolute Strike. During Resolute Strike, the Destined One can see through the incoming enemy attacks and nullify their damage. Enemies that have been seen through are easier to Stagger.

“Take the form of Gore-Eye Daoist, who wields a staff topped with a toad whose eyes emit a crimson glow. Stay within the glow and your attack will be enhanced. The staff vanishes on its own after a while.”

In Black Myth: Wukong , there are many opportunities to upgrade your character’s abilities and combat prowess. One of those options is through unlocking skills and talents under the Foundation skill trees. The Foundation skill trees are skills that enhance the core gameplay mechanics. They ultimately enhance your basic combat power, defense, and endurance. They are divided into 3 trees: Stamina , Martial Arts , and Survival .

The third stance the Destined One can gain access to, first available at level 20 , is Thrust Stance. As the name suggests, this stance specializes in rapid jabs that take full advantage of your weapon’s variable length. The heavy attack for Thrust Stance has the Destined One extending the staff to perform a long-range jab, which can deal a ton of damage when it connects and can stagger the target. After getting Whirling Thrusts, you can hold the light attack button after doing this to lunge forward into melee range and perform a flurry of jabs, making this a great way to close distance quickly.

The second available Stance, unlockable once you’ve invested a total of five Sparks , is Pillar Stance. This stance can seem underwhelming at first glance but truly shines when facing off against groups or enemies with wide-reaching attacks that travel along the ground. Pillar Stance’s heavy attack allows you to perch atop your staff for as long as you hold the button, extending the staff based on how many focus points you have. Perching puts you beyond the reach of most melee attacks, though attacks striking the staff will drain your stamina and you’ll be knocked down if it runs out. Releasing the heavy attack button will cause you to drop, performing a long-reaching slam with the extended staff that can easily strike multiple foes.

After a successful hit with Resolute Strike, performing another Heavy Attack consuming a Focus Point executes Skyfall Strike. The Destined One leverages his forward momentum, launching himself into the air with his staff to somersault forward, then unleashes a firm downward strike upon his enemy’s head.
