Hideo Kojima’s Metal Gear series first began with Metal Gear in 1987 for the MSX2, and since then numerous successful installments to the series have come out, proving that Kojima had the ability to create one of the most successful video game franchises of all time. More recently, Kojima developed Death Stranding which, although met with mixed reviews, many critics declare to be a widely creative and completely unique stand-alone g
However, if you’ve already played the game, watched some gameplay online, or read Logan’s wonderful review , then that isn’t news to you. In that case, you’re probably wondering how this PC port performs. Well, I’m happy to report that so far my experience has been amazing; it’s clear that the seven months since the game’s PS4 launch were very well-spent. My PC barely meets Death Stranding’s recommended settings, yet I’ve played around 10 hours so far, all at 60+ FPS without graphical errors, slowdown, or crashes. Meanwhile, the graphics are some of the best I’ve ever seen on my PC; certain environments and character models are hyper-realistic to the point where I feel like I am controlling a character in an HDR video. This isn’t too surprising considering it’s a port to PC, but it is worth mentioning. After all, we have seen some terrible PC ports in the p
Now, after months of endless speculation, Bandai Namco finally confirmed the contents of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot’s upcoming DLC, which will cover some interesting content from Dragon Ball Super . The upcoming DLC will introduce Super Saiyan God Goku into the game, and the DLC can be played whether the player has completed the main campaign or
Before Kojima left Konami, he was working on one of the most highly anticipated projects at the time: Silent Hills . Players were given a glimpse at what a Silent Hills game would look like with PT , or the Playable Teaser, and many thought it was one of the most unique horror titles available. Sadly, Konami canceled Silent Hills and PT was removed from the PlayStation Store not long after. Recent rumors suggest that a Silent Hill reboot is, in fact, in the works. While it seems unlikely that Kojima Productions will be involved with the project (considering that Konami still owns the franchise) anything could happen. The company did, after all, show they knew what they were doing when they released PT in the first pl
The term “dynamic” has become a bit of a buzzword for gaming media, with the idea that dynamically generating things like enemy placements, item drops, or even the weather makes a world feel more lived in. In reality, it adds a level of RNG or randomness into a situation, which is intended to enhance replayability and make each encounter feel new and completely different from the last several. So, considering the way that Death Stranding ‘s world is constantly evolving , adding some dynamic movement of the swarms of BTs could go a long
Although Death Stranding 2 Tips|Https://Deathstranding2World.Com/ Stranding was likely not quite the commercial and financial success that Kojima was hoping for, the entire company clearly put a lot of time and energy into designing the world and lore of the game. Given all of the hard work it took to craft that intricate complexity, it is not outside the realm of possibility that Kojima Productions may soon return to the world of Death Stranding in a sequel or even a prequel. Death Stranding’s movement and controls are unlike almost any other title, and it would be a waste to not explore them furt
Many gamers will be tuning in to The Game Awards 2019 to see which game won the coveted Game of the Year, but others will be tuning in for the world premieres. The Game Awards has gained a reputation for being an event where major new game announcements take place, with this year’s event promising at least 10 world premiere reveals for gamers to look forward
The vehicles are a strong point of contention for players, considering that they imply that they’ll be able to trivialize some deliveries, but they also don’t exactly move over unsteady terrain all that well. Combine this with the fact that most of Death Stranding ‘s artful aesthetic is built around landscapes that have been reclaimed by nature or wreckage of bombed cities, and the available vehicles almost require roads to be built. So, a new focus on vehicles to give them a better give and take on which terrain they can travel across and how much they can hold as a result is an improvement a sequel should aim
I’ve obviously never played the PS4 version of Death Stranding , and I’m sure that I’m far from completing its 40-hour campaign, but nothing I’ve experienced so far stops me from claiming that PC is now the definitive place to play Death Stranding . The game is visually stunning, controls well, and runs immaculately; so far I’d say it was well worth the seven month wait. However, I still have a few hundred more orders to complete; one of which is my review of Death Stranding’s PC version which I’ll be carefully delivering to DualShockers readers later this mo
